WHY SELF-PUBLISH WITH THE PUB PROS?

What sets us apart from other self-publishing services is that every member of your book team has worked for major publishers doing the exact work they will perform on your book. In most cases they still do the same kind of freelance work for top publishers that they will be doing on your book.

The result is a top publisher-quality book created by a team of industry veterans.

GETTING STARTED WITH OUR SELF-PUBLISHING PROGRAM

Many authors move on to our self-publishing option after they have worked with us to finalize their manuscript. If you are already working with us and are interested in self-publishing, you can simply discuss this with your project manager at the Pub Pros.

If you have not worked with the Pub Pros before and have a completed manuscript you would like us to help you self-publish, please fill out our contact form and we will be in touch shortly.

COPYEDITING VS. PROOFREADING

Copyediting includes sentence and occasionally paragraph-level editing that focuses on grammar, spelling, typos, and stylistic edits. A copyedit will also check for consistency and sense within your manuscript, and make suggested edits for style and readability. The copyedit will include a style sheet at the end of the project.

proofread is a final polish to catch any lingering typos or formatting issues on a final draft. After the more rigorous rounds of editing are done and your project is finished, there’s no substitute for a final read to catch any stray mistakes. A proofread is a good idea if you are self-publishing and need a last polish before your book goes to print.
